Editorial Policy
Terveys is written for readers who want to understand the systems and choices that shape everyday health in Finland. Our editorial policy reflects three commitments.
Independence
Articles are independently researched by journalists and clinicians who write in a personal capacity. We accept no sponsored content, and we do not run advertising. When a contributor has a professional interest that could reasonably be relevant to a piece, that interest is disclosed in the article.
Educational, not medical
Our content is educational. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a licensed healthcare professional. For personal clinical questions, please speak to your doctor, nurse, or the appropriate service directly.
Not affiliated with public services
Terveys is not affiliated with Omakanta, Kela, Kanta Services, Suomi.fi, or any Finnish government authority. Where we write about public services, we do so as an independent observer. For account access or official information, always consult the service in question.
Corrections
If we make a mistake, we correct it. Substantive corrections are noted at the foot of the article, with the date of the change. To report an error, write to the editors via our contact page.
